AAA Region One serves as the central information and resource center for finding services and assistance for older adults, adults aged 18+ with HIV/AIDS, adults aged 18+ with disabilities and long-term care needs, and family caregivers throughout Maricopa County, AZ.
Our programs are designed to enhance the quality of life of residents and caregivers. We advocate, plan, coordinate, develop and deliver numerous programs and services.

24-Hour Senior HELP Line
A one-stop resource staffed with professionals who can link you to the information, assistance and resources that best meets your needs.

Designed to help you find the resources you need to meet your needs in Maricopa County.
Adult Day Health Care
ADHC offers care and supervised activities during the day for seniors and adults with disabilities.
Adult Protective Services (APS)
The APS Service Coordination Program accepts referrals from APS for clients who are vulnerable due to abuse, neglect & exploitation.
Gain more job skills with ageWorks®. Older adults seeking employment can participate in the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).
AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs. Members commit their time to address critical community needs and Get Things Done for America.
Benefits Assistance Program – Medicare
Objective information about Medicare and other health insurance benefits for seniors, the disabled, and caregivers.
Works with Medicare beneficiaries who have recently been discharged from a local hospital and are at high risk for readmission.
Participating senior centers offer hot, nutritious lunches to help seniors maintain a well-balanced diet in a community setting.
This program helps provide resources and education to help protect victims of late-life domestic violence, age 50+.
Addressing the mental health and well-being of older adults through counseling, support groups and community education.
Family Caregiver Support
This program assesses and addresses the needs of family caregivers. Respite services provide a short interval of rest for the caregiver.
Healthy Living Classes
Classes to help you live and be your best you! Classes include workbook and Elder Resource Guide.
A comprehensive program at senior centers to improve health with a balanced approach to both the mental and physical well-being of older adults.
HIV Care Directions®
A program providing medical & support case management services to those 18 years and older who are HIV positive.
Homebound individuals receive a nutritious, hot meal each day. Available to those who are unable to prepare/obtain meals for themselves.
Growing numbers of seniors, individuals with disabilities, or their caregivers in Maricopa County need good quality and affordable legal services.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman
A specially trained advocate who seeks to resolve complaints for residents in extended care facilities.
MEAPA® is an organization that promotes public awareness, education, and community outreach for the prevention of Elder Abuse & Late-Life Domestic Violence.
Mosaic® Center ~ Elder Refugee Program
Through collaboration with other community organizations, MERP provides services & support to elder refugees in Maricopa County.
Mosaic® Center ~ Native American Senior Center
A place for Native Americans (aged 60+) in Maricopa County to connect with other Native Americans.
The R&R Respite Care Center is a social adult day center in Wickenburg, offering caregivers a respite break from providing daily care.
Senior Adult Independent Living (SAIL)
The umbrella program through which we provide case managed services to adults 60+, and adults 18+ with physical disabilities.
