Q: Do I have to pay for respite services?

 A: The co-pay for respite services is based on the  care recipient's income. This will be explained to you by the case manager during the initial visit.

Q: Do you serve all of Maricopa County?

A: Yes. The Area Agency on Aging, Region One has the ability to arrange for services countywide.

Q: Does ElderVention provide mental health counseling?

A: No. ElderVention provides prevention education to clients in their homes, senior centers, and other community sites. Prevention education includes information  designed to enhance coping skills and promote awareness of behavioral health issues.

Q: Does ElderVention serve all of Maricopa County?

A: Yes. Though ElderVention originally served only Western Maricopa County, the program has expanded its service area to the entire county.
 
Q: How can a support group assist me as a family caregiver?

A: There are several support groups located throughout the county. Caregivers learn  from each other and share ideas. They understand what you are going through.
