Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions


This workshop helps develop skills in:
Pain and Symptom Management
Handling Difficult Emotions
Goal Setting and Problem Solving
Communicating with Health Care Providers


This workshop is open to anyone with a chronic condition, as well as their caregivers.  A chronic condition may be heart or lung disease, asthma, arthritis, HIV, diabetes, Crohn’s, or any other illness that affects your daily life.


The workshop meets for 2 1/2 hours weekly,  for six weeks, and participants have the opportunity to become group leaders
