MARICOPA RETIRED AND SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Purpose
The purpose of RSVP is to engage persons 55 years or older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs, and to provide a high quality experience that will enrich the lives of volunteers and those whom they serve.
Partner Organizations
RSVP is part of National Service under Senior Corps. We are part of a national network of over one half million volunteers who service locally in not for profit, governmental or proprietary health care organizations in partnership with RSVP.
At the Area Agency on Aging, Region One, RSVP partners with Benefits Assistance, Ombudsman and Presentations by Seniors programs. See our website links.
Maricopa RSVP partner organizations cover most of Maricopa County. Volunteers provide much needed assistance to organizations which serve critical human needs as: meals on wheels, providing telephone reassurance or visiting homebound individuals, providing tutoring and mentoring services to at risk youth and more.
Becoming an RSVP Volunteer
RSVP staff assists prospective volunteers to find suitable placements in one of our partner organizations.
